Recently, I became aware of the Volunteer Programme Augsburg and the incredibly generous contribution they make to quality of life and community in Augsburg. On Friday, May 8, 2026, in conjunction with the European Day of Protest for the Equality of People with Disabilities, they hosted the event “We’re Moving Inclusion Forward 2026”. They truly opened the doors to those interested to learn about and participate in their projects.

I like the motto “Inclusion through Engagement” and welcome the call for volunteers to join. This concept ran through all presentations: from the booths at the entrance hall to the expressions of gratitude of people helped, to the moving stories told with passion and grace.
